Phoenix Rasbora | Boraras merah

The Phoenix Rasbora, commonly refered to as the Merah Rasbora, is an amazing nano fish with a great temperament. They are very timid so this makes them a great addition to a shrimp or snail tank. The Merah Rasbora can reach lengths of just under 1 inch. Their scientific name is Boraras merah.

Please Note: All fish shipments have a 100% Live Arrival Guarantee when shipping with Overnight (1 Day) option. All other options void our Live Arrival Guarantee for fish.

We recommend keeping these fish in group of 10 or more due to their timid nature.

In nature, these fish come from slow moving black water streams. They prefer lots of leaves, wood and rock work. Therefore, these fish are the perfect addition to a well planted buffered aquarium (PH less than 7). In nature, the Merah Rasbora feed on micro organism and small insects.

Beautiful little fish

We enjoy the Merah Rasboras that we bought last year so much that we ordered another group. They are beautiful little fish. They are healthy, active and outgoing. They do best in larger groups of 12 or more. We have had no losses from either order, and will definitely buy more fish from Flip Aquatics. The fish were very well packaged. Thank you!

Love my babies!

I received my chili Reservoir and pygmy Cory Dora yesterday and 24 hours later. We only had one death of a chili. I’m already thinking about purchasing some more. I think they’re actually coloring up already even after just 24 hours and they are very friendly, not afraid at all! Thank you flip aquatics.
