The Merah Rasbora is an amazing fish with a great temperament. They are very timid so this makes them a great addition to a shrimp or snail tank. The Merah Rasbora can reach lengths of just under 1 inch. Their scientific name is Boraras merah.
We recommend keeping these fish in group of 10 or more due to their timid nature.
In nature, these fish come from slow moving black water streams. They prefer lots of leaves, wood and rock work. Therefore, these fish are the perfect addition to a well planted buffered aquarium (PH less than 7). In nature, the Merah Rasbora feed on micro organism and small insects.

All fish arrived in great shape. I think most have made it through the week, but they are so hard to count. No obvious deaths and they seem comfortable with a trio of honey gouramis and a few neon's. I don't think they even notice the neo shrimp
I ordered nano fish, shrimp, and snails and they all arrived alive and well! The care taken with the packing of the box with the fish in mind was so amazing and a job well done! I’ve had them all now for a few weeks and they are all still doing well and super lively! Thanks so much to the Flip Aquatics team for being so thoughtful and for offering such great products!!! It’s worth paying the price for quality pets, products, and service. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
