The Merah Rasbora is an amazing fish with a great temperament. They are very timid so this makes them a great addition to a shrimp or snail tank. The Merah Rasbora can reach lengths of just under 1 inch. Their scientific name is Boraras merah.
We recommend keeping these fish in group of 10 or more due to their timid nature.
In nature, these fish come from slow moving black water streams. They prefer lots of leaves, wood and rock work. Therefore, these fish are the perfect addition to a well planted buffered aquarium (PH less than 7). In nature, the Merah Rasbora feed on micro organism and small insects.
Our Tank Parameters
After a week, my Merah Rasbora school is healthy, active and adorably cute. I wanted some small fish that would live well with shrimp and these guys are perfect! I'm so glad I picked them.
All arrived healthy and doing really well.
They arrived within one day and all were alive!
Those little fishes are just so adorable. They are like same size than my biggest red cheries lol. I have 6 of them. So nice fishes!
