Yellow Neocaridina shrimp are bright yellow in color and are stunning in any shrimp tank.
Yellow Neocaridina thrive any in general Neocaridina parameters with a pH above 7. Any inert substrate will work in their tank. Providing natural cover and surface area for biofilm to grow on with woods, leaves, and cones will be beneficial for these shrimp and their offspring. Mosses and other live plants should be included in their tank setup. They will eat any shrimp specific manufactured foods, biofilm, and algae.
We keep our Yellow Neocaridina in a tank with a Matten Filter, pool filtered sand, natural woods, and plants. We use RO/DI water remineralized with Salty Shrimp GH/KH+ to a TDS of 150-200. We feed these shrimp Shrimp King and Glasgarten foods as well as Northfin Veggie.
We offer both imported and USA bred yellow Neocaridina shrimp. Our USA bred shrimp are smaller at 1/2 an inch in size or less. All imported shrimp are 1/2 and inch or bigger on average.
The shrimp I received from you were very healthy! So healthy that I already have a berried female! The cherry shrimp are also doing very well and are reproducing. There have been no losses as far as I know (my aquarium is heavily planted). Overall wonderful experience for me. I intend on setting up a smaller tank in the future and would like to have a colony of blue dreams, and I will order them from you. I am also going to order my food and other supplies from you going forward. Thank you for being good at what you do!
Arrived healthy and beautiful. I also got some wood. Can't remember what it is called but it looks like sticks and there awesome.
I provided a review of the shrimp but will say I’m still happy with everything about my order
