The Spotted Cory (Corydoras punctatus) is a delightful addition to any freshwater aquarium. Known for its striking appearance and peaceful demeanor, this charming species boasts a mesmerizing pattern of black spots against a shimmering silver body, adding a touch of elegance to your aquatic landscape. With its playful and social nature, the Spotted Cory thrives in community tanks, where it happily interacts with other peaceful fish species, bringing joy and vitality to your underwater world.
Not only is the Spotted Cory visually captivating, but it also serves a practical purpose in your aquarium ecosystem. As a bottom-dwelling species, it diligently scavenges for leftover food and debris, helping to maintain water cleanliness and clarity. Hardy and adaptable, the Spotted Cory is an excellent choice for beginner and experienced aquarists alike, providing endless hours of enjoyment as it gracefully glides through the water, making it a must-have addition to any aquatic enthusiast's collection.
We feed our Corys a large variety of foods which include finely ground Northfin flake foods, small Northfin pellets (veggie, community, & bug pro), frozen foods, and occasionally blackworms.
