Purple Harlequin Rasbora

I’ve had my Purple Harlequins about 2.5 weeks now and they are doing splendidly. I ordered 22 and apparently with these fish anyway, for each group of 5 that you order, they send one extra in case of DOA or problems, so I have 27 healthy gorgeous fish! They were almost transparent upon arrival, I’m assuming just from the stress of transport, but they colored up very quickly once placed in my isolation tank. (But I also have a black background on the tank, plus floating plants, some drift wood, almond leaves and I cut some Creeping Jenny and put weights on it so they would feel more secure and less vulnerable in a bare bottom tank. Seems to have worked!) They seem very happy and they eat whatever I offer! Will definitely purchase from FA again and soon!

These purple rasboras joined my shoal of harlequin rasboras. From day 1 they were active, eating well, and have not appeared stressed. 100% survival rate so far. I will definitely continue to order fish from Flip. These fish and others I’ve ordered have fared much better than any local fish shop fish that I’ve bought.

All fish and shrimp came in healthy-looking, and all survived the shipment. They included an extra item per order as well.

These awesome Rasboras make me so happy! I initially ordered 20 but then I was refunded for 5 because they ran out of stock. So they charged me for 15 yet 18 arrived! The fish were very healthy and active. They do remain very active and are awesome as a school. They are a great addition to my community aquarium.
