So far, I’ve had an amazing experience with flip aquatics. I just received my loaches today, they seem to be in great health! This is my second time ordering but first time ordering fish. I like the way they were packaged and I actually received them sooner than I thought! I’m already awaiting my third order!
The site is plastered with 100% Guaranteed Live Arrival images leading most customers to believe that they keep their word.
I ordered 2 fish via Priority Mail 2 Day Shipping on December 18th, they arrived DEAD ON ARRIVAL January 5th. 18 Days after my order date.
I emailed customer service and was then blamed for not paying $30 for overnight shipping. Again and again I was told that it was my fault and notified after the fact that those 100% Guaranteed images only apply to animals sent via overnight shipping.
This must happen all the time and the keep your money and do not give refunds!
Take your business elsewhere! They are making a fortune sending you dead fish and charging ridiculous amounts of money for individual shrimp. Support your local aquarium shop.
We are so sorry your fish arrived DOA. We do our absolute best to ship healthy animals in the safest way possible. We use styrofoam boxes, individually wrap each box with foam, and include heat packs when needed. To ensure the safety of the fish we only guarantee their live arrival through Overnight 1-day shipping. You placed your order on the 18th of December. At this time we had a huge banner on the website that stated that we were holding all orders until January 4th due to the post office having issues with lost, delayed, and late packages. Your order shipped on the 4th with the USPS Priority mail you chose and arrived to you on the 7th. As we stated in our emails, our fish are only guaranteed with overnight shipping. We emailed you an image of the Kuhli Loach product page on our website where is says in bold italics that fish are only guaranteed through overnight 1-day shipping and all other methods of shipping void our live arrival guarantee. We also showed you our Live Arrival Guarantee policy under 'Info' on our website. All other livestock (shrimp, snails, plants, and crabs) are 100% guaranteed with Priority and Overnight mail. With all that being said, we still offered to ship you new fish if you would pay for the appropriate shipping method. In your second email to us you called us the 'C' word and told us to 'F*** off.' After all this we still wanted to help you with your fish and make sure you were satisfied with your purchase with us. After you cussed at us through email more we simply asked if we could talk on the phone to come to a resolution and you refused. We still would like to help you resolve this issue and would be more than happy to speak over the phone as we stated in our last email. I ordered 4 of these loaches and they sent me 5 in case one didn’t make it. All 5 loaches arrived alive and in very healthy condition.
Fish were dead on arrival. Had no response for a week. When they finally responded and offer to send a replacement (only after I left a review about how they would not reply) they sent my replacement to the wrong address. What a joke lol.
