Green Delta Guppies are one of those strains that have a really cool story behind them. They trace back to Stan Shubel, one of the most respected guppy breeders in the hobby, who spent decades selectively breeding guppies beginning in the 1940s. This line has stood the test of time for a reason.
Our Green Delta Guppies come from a local hobbyist breeder who's worked hard to keep this line pure, preserving the body shape, flowing delta tail, and beautiful green coloration that made these guppies so well known in the first place.
The males have a really unique look with soft green iridescence that almost glows when the light hits them just right. It's a color you don't see very often, and it's one of those fish that looks even better in person.
Like most guppies, they're peaceful, active, and easy to keep, making them a great fit for planted tanks and community aquariums.
