Green Cory

The Green Cory is one of the most popular Corydoras species. They show their best behavior while shoaling in groups of 2 or more fish. The Green Cory is extremely peaceful making it a great addition to any community tank and even most shrimp tanks. They reach a max size of around 2.5 inches.

Please Note: All fish shipments have a 100% Live Arrival Guarantee when shipping with the Overnight (1 Day) option. All other options void our Live Arrival Guarantee for fish.

Corydoras species prefer a sand substrate as they enjoy scavenging for food. It is also less abrasive to their barbels making sand the best long-term substrate solution for the Corydoras family.

We feed our Green Corys a large variety of foods which include finely ground Northfin flake foods, small Northfin pellets (veggie, community, & bug pro), frozen foods, and occasionally blackworms.

The scientific name is Corydoras aeneus

Great bottom feeder

I have purchased Green Corys from Flip Aquatics before and I love the color when they are fully mature. I decided to give the ones I have a larger group. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Healthy and active right out of the bag

My 5+1 green corys arrived in excellent shape; the 1-day shipping was well worth their robustness and quick acclimation to my aquarium. Now I can sit back and enjoy them!
