Green Cobra Guppy (Pairs)

Green Cobra Guppy Pairs

There are not many aquarists who can claim that they have never kept guppies. The Cobra Green Guppy, with its iridescent, shimmering colours, is a really great eye-catcher in an aquarium. They can cohabitate your aquarium wonderfully with a wide range of different fish, and because of how easy they are to care for, they are perfectly suited for both experienced aquarists and beginners.

For whom is the Green Cobra Guppy suited?

Because of its beautiful deep-green colour, we consider the Green Cobra Guppy a must-have for any aquarist who has the space to accommodate these little green creatures. Because they are omnivores and can survive under many different circumstances, they are perfectly suited for both beginners and more experienced aquarists.

What are they like?

A group of Cobra Green Guppy with their somewhat more reserved, but nevertheless fascinating and bright colours is a real eye-catcher in the aquarium. This beautiful variety of Poecilia reticulata from South America is absolutely popular among aquarists. Just like many other guppies, the Cobra Green Guppy will quickly procreate if left alone, and so you may want to consider a natural predator in the aquarium, which helps a little to keep the guppy population in check. In general, the guppies co-exist wonderfully with a large array of other fish and invertebrates.

The ideal conditions for the Green Cobra Guppy

The Cobra Green Guppy is an undemanding aquarium fish that copes well with medium to hard water and a water temperature of 72-82 °F. A heater is not absolutely necessary. The aquarium should offer swimming space, but also be well-planted for potential co-habitants to withdraw.

    Beautiful Guppies

Very nice guppies that arrived healthy and acclimated very well.

    Great Fish!

Had a lot of trouble finding healthy guppies at local fish stores. Ordered a pair of these guys and they have been absolutely awesome, super colorful and the healthiest guppies I've owned so far. Already plenty of babies filling up my 20 gallon!

    1 DOA, 1 mislabeled

1 female was DOA, the other "female" ended up being a male that is crossed with an Endlers Livebearer.
