The Exclamation Point Rasbora is yet another fun fish from the Boraras genus. These small fish are perfect for nano aquariums and can be kept with shrimp. They prefer school of 10 or more although males can get a little territorial during breeding. We'd recommend keeping these is a 10 gallon tank or larger.
The Exclamation Point Rasbora reaches a max size of just under 1 inch. They are the smallest fish of their genus found in the hobby. They originate from slow moving to stagnant water. Therefore, they do not need intense filtration or water movement.
The scientific name for the Exclamation Point Rasbora is Boraras urophthalmoides.
We feed our Exclamation Point Rasboras a mix of baby brine and Northfin Fry food. We also supplement their diet with a mix of Northfin Veggie and Community.
Our Tank Parameters
My Exclamation Point Rasbora all came in very healthy and happy. They've been a great addition to my community tank.
I bought 20 of these guys for my 20 gal dorm aquarium, which is also stocked with 6 sparkling gouramis, and 4 bronze corydoras. All 24 (one freebie for every 5 purchased) came in perfectly healthy, and after following the drip acclimation instructions provided they've been doing wonderfully the past few weeks
I really appreciate the packaging of the fish and the timely delivery. I can always rely on flip aquatics These fish are perfect for my tank. They arrived all healthy and still going strong. Go great with the pea puffer that I also purchased after getting these guys through flip aquatics. Definitely recommend these for nano tank mates. Thank you team flip aquatics looking forward to many more purchases with y'all.
Fish came in healthy! They even threw in a sixth one which was a bice surprise! Unfortunately two of them passed a day later because they wedged themselves between the prefilter intake sponge (that was attached for the sole purpose of protecting them from filter related death) and the back glass somehow. After cutting off part of the sponge to provide clearance, the remaining four seem to be doing well. I'll likely be purchasing a few more to get a small school of at least 8-10 of them in there to thrive.
My 20 + 4 exclamation point rasboras arrived healthy and energetic. They have acclimated to my tank very well: they’re gaining weight and coloring up beautifully.
