Dwarf Orange Mexican Crayfish, or Cambarellus patzcuarensis 'orange' (CPO), are native to rivers and streams in Mexico. These small crayfish grow to about 2.5 inches and thrive in tanks of at least 5 gallons. They can be a bit aggressive, so it's best to give them a well-decorated tank with plenty of hiding spots and space to establish their territories. We feed our crayfish a mix of artemia pellets, frozen bloodworms, and other protein-rich foods. They also enjoy soft algae pellets or wafers.
DISCLAIMER: Some states prohibit the import of crayfish. It is the consumer's responsibility to be aware of their state's laws.
