Black Tiger Dario, also known as the Black Tiger Badis, is a type of fish that is closely related to the Scarlet Badis. Like the Scarlet Badis, Black Tiger Darios are small and hardy fish that are perfect for nano tanks. They max out at around an inch in size and the males develop beautiful colors, while the females do not. Black Tiger Darios are carnivores and only eat live foods like baby brine shrimp or daphnia.
Due to their aggressive nature and picky appetite, it is best to keep Black Tiger Darios in their own aquarium. Although, some have reported having success getting them with fish such as the Neon Tetras or even guppies with success.

Very happy with the Black Tiger I received, he looks very healthy and active in my tank.
Packed well, arrived healthy. Only took 24 hours to make it to the Midwest. He’s been with me now for 1 week.
He gets along in the community tanks with chili rasboras, neocaridina, an nerite, and Pygmy corydoras. He readily begs for micro worms at the front of the tank now that he has realized I bring the food. He’s still pretty pale in coloring -not sure if it’s related to his age, the stress of a new tank, dominance, or something else. But he’s a very interesting dude. I would buy from flip aquatics again.
Received a very small, very cute black tiger dario who is full of spunk and very confident. He quickly joined my little family of dario and has quite the following. He is loving the black worms i feed him occasionally and is always right up front at the glass when i come over for feeding time.
