Albino Bristlenose Pleco

The Albino Bristlenose Pleco is very popular in the aquarium hobby. Also known as an Albino Bushynose catfish for the appendages that sprout from their snout once they reach maturity. These fish are covered in boney plates and their mouths are on the bottom of their bodies which makes them excellent algae eaters! These fish are locally bred and are not imports. They are usually about 2 inches when shipped. They reach a max size of around 5 inches.

Please Note: All fish shipments have a 100% Live Arrival Guarantee when shipping with Overnight (1 Day) option. All other options void our Live Arrival Guarantee for fish.

The Albino Bristlenose Pleco that we sell makes an awesome addition to any community tank.  They are very docile fish that get along well with almost anything that you put in your tank. They also make for a nice cleaner fish as they love eating algae and combing thru substrate picking it clean of any debris or food residue left behind by other fish.  These fish are very hardy.

The scientific name for the Albino Bristlenose Pleco is Ancistrus sp.

We feed our Albino Bristlenose Pleco a mix of Northfin Veggie and Community. Their main food is Northfin Kelp Wafers and unsalted green beans.

So cute!

Over a month ago I ordered 2 plecos (10 other fish and 3 snails). They are all healthy and active.

My Albino Bristlenose was perfect. His coloring is beautiful and he came very active. I've really fallen in love with this little guy.

Pleasantly Surprised

Since this was the first time I ever ordered a live fish online I was apprehensive - but the albino bristlenose pleco arrived healthy & hungry. I was also very impressed with the bright golden color - who know a pleco could be pretty!

Albino bristle is missing

I am happy with my only bristle nose pleco that I see he’s exciting to watch and appears to be healthy, the super reds have not been seen in days.
