The Green Kubotai Rasbora, Microdevario kubotai, are a bright green color uncommonly seen in freshwater fish. In aquariums with dark substrate and lots of places to hide these fish color up greatly. These rasboras are great additions to any size tank especially nano tanks due to their small size.
These fish are great community fish to add to aquariums with similar size and tempered aquarium mates. It is best to keep these fish in groups of 5 or more to ensure they can school together in a comfortable manner. In highly planted and well maintained aquariums you can see natural spawning occur and have fry appear. These fish do best in tanks with lots of cover!
These rasboras will max out at around an inch in size.
These fish will consume a wide variety of foods including flake, live baby brine shrimp and frozen foods.

I purchased 3 Green Kubotai to add to my other 3.
They arrived alive and seem to be doing well after 2 days.
As stated on another review,I don't know why there is a special instruction box on the order form.
Luckily shipment worked out as my neighbor took shipment from UPS.
Green Rasboras are lit!
Alive & happy, great size!
Great little fish with amazing color! Arrived extremely healthy and thriving! Thanks Flip Aquatics again for another great addition to my fish room!
Some confusion on shipping at first. Received notification and site showed status of shipped then next day status went back to unfulfilled. I contacted through the site, did get a response next day that the label had to be regenerated, and by the time I saw the reply the fish had been shipped. Then there was a delay in shipping (at mail facility due to weather-no fault of Flip Aquatics). In spite of delay there were no DOA. Fish received were tiny little fry, which I was actually very happy with since I'm also building this tank out with neocaridina shrimp. Shrimp population can expand before fish have get big enough to slow their growth. Fish were a little slow at first from the extra 2 days in the bag, but perked up quickly and soon were happily exploring the tank. Still too young to show much color, but it's evident they will be bright and beautiful soon enough.
