Yellow Neocaridina shrimp are bright yellow in color and are stunning in any shrimp tank. They thrive in any general Neocaridina parameters with a pH above 7. Any inert substrate will work in their tank. Providing natural cover and surface area for biofilm to grow on with woods, leaves, and cones will be beneficial for these shrimp and their offspring. Mosses and other live plants should be included in their tank setup. They will eat any shrimp specific manufactured foods, biofilm, and algae.
We offer both imported and USA bred yellow Neocaridina shrimp. Our USA bred shrimp are smaller at 1/2 an inch in size or less. All imported shrimp are 1/2 and inch or bigger on average.

Yellow Neocaridina Shrimp
24 large, healthy nearly identical-looking shrimp! I was a bit worried when they arrived since they looked translucent with a creamy white stripe down their backs, but within a week they had turned a beautiful deep yellow. Greatly appreciate that they included 4 extra shrimp (in addition to the 20 ordered)! Extremely well packed (with insulation) and arrived super quickly. Thanks!
Ordered 5, rec'd 5 monster yellow shrimp. After acclimation, they went in and instantly adjusted. Although, after looking, it appears I rec'd 5 males, so i'll need to order 5 more and hopefully get females.
I was hesitant to leave a review at first but within a week the color has really come out on 5 of the 6 shrimp I received. I did end up with one clear one but otherwise I can't complain.
