Adopt a Lucky Nano Fish | Freshwater Assortment

Our assorted nano fish adoptions are various leftover fish from our normal stock tanks or  stragglers with minor issues in need of rehoming. They may have a slight spinal curvature, be missing a fin, or exhibit stunted growth.

Despite small imperfections or unusual traits, our stragglers and special nano fish have amazing character. They enjoy bustling community tanks with compatible species that give them comfort in numbers. Lots of aquascaping like plants and rockwork provides good cover for those who prefer solitude or feel vulnerable.

All adoptions nano fish species are healthy and ready for a permanent relocation.

        I Adopted ????

I adopted 10 and received 6 unknown type of platy, and 6 unknown neon tetras maybe. They were very small and I had to scramble to switch out the fx6 intake to a fx6 sponge filter adaptor so they wouldn't get sucked up. Everyone is growing and thriving, and no losses to the mighty filter...whew.
I had and still have mixed feelings about getting live bearers because they are in a heavily stocked 75gal community tank. Only time will tell.
        Would I adopt again? Absolutely!

        Cute little nano fish

My latest nano fish adoption appear to be little galaxy rasboras. One has a little bend in his body, totally charming. I'm excited to watch them as they grow and settle in.
They arrived healthy and active and integrated right into the tank. I'm so happy with my new little friends.

        Great little group of fish

I "adopted" five fish. I got an unexpected selection. A green neon rasbora that will be joining my existing school, assorted danios and I believe a rainbow shiner! I have a tank that just has some hillstream loaches that I was thinking about setting up as a cold water tank. I think this is the sign to remove the heater and get more shiners.

You never know what you are going to get. Always a good choice if you want a surprise.
