A variety of Ludwigia repens from North America with striking dark red leaves and stalk. Stems from 20-50 cm and 4-6 cm wide. It provides a great color contrast to the green shades in the aquarium. Plant in large groups to enhance the decorative effect and prune regularly to encourage bushy growth. The plant has few demands, but if the light is insufficient the lower leaves tend to fall off. In strong light, the color becomes more intense.
Rec’d our Ludwigia, as well as nubias nana, Java fern, and Amazon sword recently. All were in good shape and items were impeccably packed. Plants are still adjusting (Ludwigia leaves are getting thin and translucent) which is to be expected.
Also just ordered Nano fish from Flip (had a last minute order adjustment) and the shipping team at Flip A was very accommodating. Great service!!
