Shadow Mosura shrimp have a black pattern on their head and blue bodies with their genetic line coming from a cross between Blue Bolt and Black King Kong Taiwan Bees. The Blue Bolts provide their blue color which is referred to as a "shadow" gene.
When breeding these shrimp you will get a variety of black head patterns with some black markings possible on their body. The shades of blue on their bodies will vary but can be selectively bred for a deep blue all-over coloration.
The Shadow Mosura is a beautiful variety of Taiwan Bee that can make a great addition to a mixed caridina tank or kept alone and selectively bred.

After a beginning tank of Red Cherry Shrimp & raising some babies, I decided to do a community shrimp tank. I added some Red King Kong Panda mix shrimp along with some Shadow Mosura Shrimp purchased from Flip Aquatics. They arrived healthy & thriving. I now have some Baby Shadow Mosura! I love Flip Aquatics!
Didn't loose a single one, they all look great, slow drip acclimation (12hrs) with the other Taiwan Bees I ordered and they are all doing great in their new home, can’t wait to make my next purchase
The shrimp were amazingly comfortable in the tank after drip acclimation and got to exploring immediately. All the shrimp have great colouration and all the instructions for care were clear and concise. A very positive purchasing experience!
