Seiryu stone is one of the most beautiful rocks we have ever seen here at Flip Aquatics. The rock ranges from a deep grey-blue to a blackish grey. The layered appearance makes Seiryu stone great for creating master piece aquascapes. Since the stone has some white mineral veins (calcium deposits) running through it, the Ph in your aquarium most likely will rise. You can combat this by adding in driftwood or other natural product like Indian almond leaves or alder cones. Seiryu stone is rather heavy so it is important to make sure it is secure in your aquarium. Falling pieces could damage your aquarium.
For best results we recommend rinsing rocks before addition to an aquarium. Although all pieces are cleaned, it is natural for rock to create additional dust during shipping.
You will receive a 10lb or more bulk package of Seiryu Stones or a numbered package that will include hand selected pieces. Each piece is inspected and packaged with care to help protect the character of each stone.
*Each piece is different. When buying in bulk, you will get a random selection of 2 to 4 stones. The stones in bulk packages will not be identical to the bulk package pictures.*
The rocks given to me had a wonderful shape. They came packaged extremely well, and came in perfect condition. No dust, no broken bits, and did not penetrate the two boxes it came in. I was looking for rocks that are a bit smoother than ohko stone, and definitely got it here. I loved the little details in the box, such as knowing who did my package. This was a wonderful experience overall!!
The rocks I received were skillfully selected to go together by Flip Aquatics. I received one large rock, one medium rock and two smaller rocks, making a stunning aquascape that looks so beautiful in my 20 gallon betta tank. And the bigger rock even has a little cave for hiding!! I glued some anubias and java fern onto them to make them blend perfectly into my planted tank. I am so happy about this purchase, thank you.
Beautiful rocks with great variety in shape and texture
I ordered the 10 lb. lot, and I couldn't be more pleased! I received one large rock and four medium/smaller rocks. One was absolutely perfect for anchoring my anubius to! Packaged really well and very fast arrival too.
I ordered one 10lb lot of rock and I’m really pleased with what I received. One nice large character piece and a small accent piece which will tie in nicely.
