Above-and-beyond

At this point, I've ordered 3 dozen or plants from "big green." At least 3 of those orders were compromised with dead or dying plants (or with varying plant grades - sometimes exceptional, multiple long stems / other times, pretty small and beat up looking!?) that were shipped inside their "reusable insulated liner" that did not assist with heat gain, smoking the plants......Lame. Flip's plants were pristine (as in, one bunch was 18" long! Seriously.)...The overall order was delayed due to the hurricane, arriving to South Fla. I did add the cold pack as extra security, and it paid off........other items from this delayed were quickly rectified and without hassle. I'll be back for plants and livestock, as another company that rhymes with "Stan's Fish" simply couldn't provide data (methodology, are they added or not via customer service emails) on cold packs to S. FL. and did not have them as an option at checkout......Flip's did. I'm sold.

Small portions and no inventory system

Ordered 5 different plants 2 of which were out of stock but not marked out of stock, ended up swapping one of the plants with another and getting a refund for the other. Upon arrival everything looked pretty healthy. Wasn’t satisfied with the portioning of the dwarf hair grass or rotala H’ra but at least they threw a Swedish fish in for me.
