NorthFin Kelp Wafers is our favorite food from the Northfin line. It is an exceptional food for all algae eating invertebrates and fish like otocinclus, corydoras and plecostomus. We use this food to feed our Neocaridina shrimp along with other foods.
We began using NorthFin foods in early 2017 due to the outstanding feedback we had received from subscribers and customers. They reported using the foods for shrimp and fish and they began having outstanding results. Although we use NorthFin for our nano fish, it can also be fed to Neocaridina and Caridina shrimp as well.

My animals love this stuff. My snails will go for this before the calcium food I give them. Pop it in at night for my night feeders and it's gone the next morning. Love northfin
I feed these to my Shrimp, Corydoras, and Panda Garra. The seek it out and fight over them like it’s the last piece of candy! Great product!
My mystery snails are huge fans of these kelp wafers! As soon as they’re in the water my snails are on the move! They also hold together well and don’t dirty the tank.
Our Julii catfish love these wafers! We were so surprised to see them come out so quickly to eat. They were eating another highly rated wafer, and they would graze on them slowly. They are so much happier with the Northfin Kelp Wafers.
Most, if not all, of my fish love these wafers. Guppies, rams, angels, corydoras, various nano fish & plecos - all nom hard on these kelp wafers. Highly preferred over Xtreme’s version, and doesn’t seem to cloud or foul my water quickly at all. I actually grind up these pellets and mix them with NorthFin’s fry starter (100% krill) to help prevent swim bladder issues, particularly in super tiny fry. It’s funny: my guppy fry will try to box out older fish until they’re full of this food - so it’s doubly effective at providing both elite nutrition and unbeatable entertainment. 100% recommend 5/5 stars
