Narrow Leaf Sagittaria | Sagittaria subulata

Narrow Leaf Sagittaria is a hardy, beginner-friendly aquarium plant that grows well in a wide variety of freshwater setups. It does best under low to medium lighting and doesn't require CO2, although adding it along with other nutrients will encourage faster growth and more compact leaves. It's a heavy root feeder and benefits from a nutrient-rich substrate or regular root tab fertilization.

After being planted underwater, it's completely normal for many of the original emersed leaves to melt away as the plant transitions to submerged growth. Once established, it will produce new underwater leaves and begin spreading by runners, creating a lush grassy carpet or dense patch over time.
