The Naked Micro Rasbora or Sawbwa Resplendens are a stunning Rasbora with pale blue bodies and reddish orange faces and fins. They make a great addition to any nano tank. They are best kept in groups of at least 6 fish. It is a schooling species by nature and do better if kept in a group of 20-30 specimens. Instead of a large number of them, you could have like sized and temperament fish to make them feel more comfortable.
What are they like?
If you’re looking for a peaceful tropical freshwater fish with a flashy appearance and fun personality, the Naked Micro Rasbora is a great match for you. Rasboras enjoy living with fellow peaceful tankmates and thrive in groups of ten or more. They are active swimmers in the aquarium and can live up to four years with proper care and attention.
For whom is the Naked Micro Rasbora suited?
Naked Micro Rasboras are fairly easy to keep with the right setup. When provided with heavily planted and shaded areas in the aquarium they will thrive. This fish is suited for both intermediate and advanced aquarists.
The ideal conditions for Naked Micro Rasbora
Naked Micro Rasboras are originally from the mountain lake of Inlé and the associated watershed in Shan State, eastern Myanmar, making them partial to shallow water with floating plants and other dense vegetation and a darker substrate. To keep your Rasboras content, be sure to create an environment with some shaded areas and breaks in the line of sight.
What we feed our Naked Micro Rasbora
Naturally omnivorous, Naked Micro Rasbora enjoys eating small live foods such as baby brine, Daphnia, Blackworms, Bloodworms, and scuds. We supplement their diet with a mix of Northfin Veggie, Community, and Bug Pro to ensure a balanced and nutritious diet.
