They can be grow in both in aquariums and paludraiums. There are hundreds of buce varieties that exist and new ones are being discovered every day. This plant grows similar to anubias as it grows along a rhizome and sends off leaves from it. They do best when tied or glued to rocks or drift wood and should not be planted in the substrate. They are extremely slow growers and take up too 2 years to fully convert in their \"submerged\" form. As the plant matures in your aquarium the new leaves will become more delicate and have a more intense color to them.
