Aponogeton Longiplumulosus

Aponogeton Longiplumulosus is a really cool aquarium plant if you're looking for something with a little more movement and texture. Its long, narrow leaves have heavily ruffled edges that create an almost wavy look as they move with the water.

This plant can get pretty large once established, making it a great choice for the midground or background of larger planted aquariums. The dark green leaves add a ton of texture without needing super high lighting.

Like other Aponogetons, this plant grows from a bulb and may occasionally go through a resting period where growth slows down or some leaves die back. Don't panic! Give the bulb some time and it can begin putting out new growth again.

Planting Aponogeton Longiplumulosus

Plant the bulb in your substrate with part of the bulb remaining exposed. Avoid completely burying the bulb, as planting it too deep can cause it to rot. Once established, the plant will send its leaves up from the bulb and can grow into a pretty impressive centerpiece.
