The Gold white cloud is a great addition to any aquarium planted, or unplanted. The gold white cloud has great color contrast displaying gold coloration with red coloration on its fins and tail compared to the darker grey coloration of the normal white cloud minnow. They show schooling behavior in small groups, this behavior is very evident in larger groups of 10 or more.
The white cloud is great for small tanks from 10 gallons and up.
The white cloud minnow can reach a size of 1.5 inches and is a great community and beginner fish do to its adaptability to a large range of water parameters. We would not recommend keeping them with shrimp if trying to grow your colony as they can target baby shrimp easily.
The scientific name for the White Cloud Minnow is: Tanichthys albonubes "Gold"
We feed our White Clouds a mix of frozen foods including daphnia, baby brine and cyclops. We occasionally feed them Northfin Veggie. Will accept live foods if prepared.

They came will packed and all arrived alive. However, my plus 1 was not an extra GWCM it was a Sunburst Orange Danio that looked exactly like the GWCMs but was slightly bigger. He did fine for a couple of days, schooling with the minnows, then all of a sudden just started aggressively chasing them. As I didn’t have any other danios, I had to rehome him. But other than that, all is good. Only lost one WCMM since.
Great WCMM settled right into the school and colored up quickly. Livestock from Flip Aquatics has been fliptastic!
I ordered 4 of these along with 5 "normal" colored WCMM, and all arrived super healthy and active! Impressed with the quality of the fish. I've had them almost a week and all are still active, healthy, and eating. They eat anything I put in the tank - lol. Love them!
Absolutely stunning fish! So vibrant and active! I got 8 and wish I'd went with more! They are such a joy to watch! Pictures truly don't do them justice!
