These guys are known for their vibrant color and active schooling, making them a lively addition to any tank. This species is suitable for community freshwater aquariums. They like soft water and stable water parameters with a temperature between 72-78 °F. Give them plenty of live plants, hiding spots, and driftwood to encourage their natural behavior. Providing these conditions makes their colors even more intense and helps them feel secure. Feed them high quality flakes, soft pellets, or frozen and live worms.
