Glowlight Danio Fish

The Glowlight Danio, also commonly searched as Glolight Danio, has a slightly confusing name in the hobby because of GloFish... But let's be clear this is not a GloFish. The Glowlight Danio is a naturally occurring danio species from Southeast Asia and one of the more unique danios we have had come through Flip!

These fish have beautiful yellow/orange/red hue with striping, giving them a really cool glowing look without being genetically modified. Glowlight Danios are active, colorful, and fun to watch as they swim around the tank. They will generally ship at around 1 to 1.5 inches!

The Glowlight Danio is a relatively peaceful species that should be kept in schools of 6 or more. Keeping them in a group helps them feel safer, act more naturally, and show off more of their active schooling behavior in the aquarium.

Glowlight Danios are hardy and adaptable, which makes them a great option for many peaceful community aquariums. They do best with other peaceful fish that do not mind an active school moving through the tank.
