Common Name: Snowball Shrimp
Scientific Name: Neocaridina zhangiajiensis var. Snowball
Genus: Neocaridina
The Snowball Shrimp ( Neocaridina zhangiajiensis var. Snowball) will stand out in your aquarium due to its unique, white color. This color has been achieved by years of breeding by experts, which has led to the pearl-colored beauties we know and love today. They are incredibly popular due to how easy they are to keep, as well as their peaceful behavior towards other aquarium inhabitants.
The Snowball Shrimp can almost be considered a must-have for beginners and experts alike due to their unique appearance and the fact that they’re super easy to care for. Just like other shrimps from the Neocaridina family, they are incredibly hardy and prolific, making them the ideal addition to any aquarium. They are scavengers with most of their diet consisting of dead plant remains. They are incredibly active due to their constant desire to eat, so they are great for adding a little bit of “life” to your aquarium.

Great little shrimp, show well in the tank.. very hardy and as usual all delivered alive and active. Thanks again FA…
They were beautiful, healthy shrimp. They were packed great, nice size, arrived right on time. Unfortunately, I am apparently not cut out to have shrimp because none survived. : (
Just got them a day ago, but all seem to be healthy and watched one do a nice molt. Came in with one female already carrying eggs and I think I counted three others saddled. 12 in total including a tiny baby with the bunch that was the hardest little bugger to get out of the bucket and into the tank. I should have gotten one of those shrimp nets! No deaths from what was seen and all seemed healthy as they went into the tank as well after acclimation. Got them along with some snails and everyone seems to be having fun in their new home.
They all came in alive and healthy and even came with 2 extra I will be shopping here again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Got these shrimps one month ago. No DOA at all, and I got 16 in total. Most of them were juvenilles, but two or three were big adults and 3-4 were small fries. They are very hardy and one female got berried the very next day. So far they are doing well and I can see baby shrimps appearing in my tank.
