Red Endler

The Red Endler (Poecilia wingei) is a vibrant freshwater fish, know for its brilliant red hues and active demeanor. This small but eye-catching species adds a vivid splash of color to any aquarium. Originating from the clear waters of Venezuela, the Red Endler is known for its hardy nature and adaptability, making it an excellent choice for both novice and experienced aquarists. Its peaceful temperament allows it to thrive in community tanks, especially alongside other small, non-aggressive species.

As a livebearer, the Red Endler offers the exciting opportunity to observe the natural birth and development of tiny, free-swimming fry right in your own aquarium. This fish is not only easy to care for but also contributes to the ecological balance of your tank by grazing on algae and detritus.

My fish came in very healthy.

I ordered a trio of clown killifish, a blue least dwarf crayfish and a red endler pair. The customer service was AMAZING including that I bought my fish when it was on average 35-40° outside. All of the fish were packed very well and insulated, and they showed up a little pale from shipping but otherwise very healthy. The clown killifish were a little young and small but they are also nano fish. The red endler pair was bagged separately so no baby fish arrived. And the crayfish arrived a little rattled but settled into his home very nicely. If I were trying to decide whether or not to buy from flip aquatics or find a different website, I would go with flip aquatics because they reply very fast and take very good care of quarantining, packing and shipping their fish. So thank you flip aquatics and for the other customers thinking about ordering from flip aquatics, go for it. Thank you!
