Adolfo’s Cory (Corydoras adolfoi) is a rare cory from Peru and Brazil. As it matures, it develops a bright yellow-orange head patch with a clean black mask. It stays small and peaceful, so it fits well in planted community aquariums.
Keep them in groups of six or more so they feel safe and show natural behavior. Good tankmates include dwarf cichlids, angelfish, larger shrimp, and other calm fish. They spend most of their time on the bottom scavenging, so use soft sand or smooth gravel to protect their barbels and belly. They may eat baby shrimp.
