Scientific Name: Nymphaea Zenkeri
Common Names: Red Tiger Lotus,Nymphaea Tiger Lotus
The Red Tiger Lotus is a beloved tropical lily among aquarium enthusiasts for its striking appearance. These solitary plants feature vibrant reddish leaves and can even produce fragrant flowers under optimal conditions. Surprisingly easy to care for, they thrive in well-lit spaces without requiring specific care.
Although fertilizer can promote growth, it may lead to the development of long-stalked floating leaves that can block light from other plants. However, these leaves can also bear beautiful white flowers, enhancing the tank's aesthetics. The Red Tiger Lotus adapts well to various water conditions, tolerating both acidic and alkaline environments, as well as temperatures ranging from 15°C to 30°C. Regular removal of long-stalked leaves ensures that lower plants receive adequate light, maintaining a balanced aquarium ecosystem.
You should not bury the bulb of this plant deeper than 1/4 of the bulb or it can decay/rot

Glad when it came
love this lotus!
Beautiful will be getting more of these. I want to have at least one in all my tanks. Trick is to not let the lily pad hit the surface so it stays full and I just learned that. Low light no CO2 and loads of color which is rare. This is probably my favorite plant. You get a plant that looks like the photo which is why I will buy mine from Flip Aqua from now on!
Love that it is already sprouted & growing so you know you got a good bulb
Great quality.
