Java fern

Java fern is a great low-light plant that is extremely hardy. A Java Fern plant is an aquatic fern that grows very well under low light. The Java Fern plant can be easily attached to driftwood or rocks. The large green leaves look best attached to driftwood and growing up or down a branch. Oftentimes, we will find java fern growing out of our sponge filters due to tiny plantlets breaking away from the mother. To propagate a Java Fern plant, cut the rhizome, horizontal shoots, or plantlets growing from the underside of leaves.

Java fern plant is extremely hardy and can survive in even hard water. Aquatic ferns are generally a great plant for beginners. A Java Fern plant doesn't require special lighting or CO2, making it an easy and attractive addition to your aquascape. Java fern will accept most water parameters and thrive in stable conditions.

Java Fern

The plant arrived healthy & vibrant. And then I put it in the turtle tank. It’s still hanging on for dear life, though the turtle delights in tearing pieces off periodically. Lol!
