Couldn’t be happier

I ordered 5 crystal reds, there was a slight shipping mix up however the team was phenomenal at helping out, getting the right shrimp and fulfilling my order. I’ve ordered plants and drift wood initially but keep coming back for live animals. These guys are great and truly know what they’re doing. I got an extra shrimp for any DOAs, and they always include a single Swedish fish which my brothers can’t wait to get to. Great people, great site, great shrimp. Can’t wait to get the shrimp I ordered.

Crystal red +6

3 did not survive . I don’t know why , because the other 3 are doing fine I have a 10 gal Fluval with 6 other shrimp ,wihich I have had over a year . Water parameters are in the good range ,plants and wood all good . Two of my females are Caring eggs . Maybe someone will have a explanation to why this happened .
Still happy with 3 remaining Crystal Reds

5 Crystal Red Shrimp

These shrimps were not as good quality as other FlipAquatics shrimps

I ordered 20 crystal reds on Labor Day Sale. They arrived in 2 bags (one bag with 12 and one bag with 10 shrimps). So they packed 2 extra. They water in the 10 shrimp bag was folly and 2 shrimps were DOA, so the 2 extras made for the loss.
After drip acclimating them and putting them in the 10 gal I used to have the Blue bolts, I kept losing 7 more (2 or 1 a day for the next few days).
Now is hard to tell if the ones that died were part of the bag with 2 DOA and they gotten weak being in that folly water or were a mixed of the 2 bags, since I put all the shrimps in the same tank.
The thank is being running for almost 2 years now, with water tested in the day of arrival being pH 6.6, Amonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 5.0 ppm.
Kh 2, Gh 7.
