The Japanese Blue Mosaic Guppy (Poecilia reticulata) is a stunning freshwater fish that is sure to grab attention in any aquarium. As one of the most visually striking guppy varieties, males exhibit a dazzling mosaic of blue, purple, and silver colors across their body and flowing fins. Females are less ornate but still beautiful with steel blue and silver hues.
Japanese Blue Mosaic Guppies are peaceful community fish that do best when kept in schools of 6 or more. Males can be kept together, but it's best to maintain a ratio of 2 females per male to disperse male aggression. They make an excellent addition to larger community tanks of 20 gallons or more that are well-planted and have plenty of swimming areas. Their small size of only 1-2 inches also allows them to be housed in desktop nano aquariums.

What we feed Guppies
We feed our fish a mix of frozen, live, and prepared foods including live baby brine and black worms. We also supplement their diet with a mix of Northfin Veggie, Community, and Bug Pro.
The female Japanese Blue Mosaic Guppy has a nice large and colorful tail fin. She’s my favorite so far, and she’s super healthy and energetic. Very fun to observe. She arrived as pictured, but grew into her colors as she matured. Would love to get a male at some point
