Product Description

The Cardinal Tetra is one of the aquarium hobbies most popular schooling fish. This is due to their striking blue and red color that stands out great in any aquarium. They look closely to a Neon Tetra yet the differences are evident.  The Cardinal tetra is a bit larger than the Neon Tetra to start.  Cardinals come from warmer water than Neon Tetras.  In coloration, the Cardinal Tetra’s red line runs the whole length of the body.  The red in the Neon Tetra only goes from the tail to about the middle of the body then the color changes to silver. They all arrived alive and healthy, and are doing well.
I’ve never come across breathable shipping bags before and did not realize they should not be floated. Your company might want to warn new customers of this danger before the fish arrive. Thanks.

Very active and beautiful fish

Very few freshwater fish actually stick out in the dark or under black water conditions. These are just show stoppers. Lost a couple in transit along with some kubotai Rasbora I ordered but the ones that made it are happy, healthy, and active. Definitely trust Flip Aquatics with my future purchases. They take care of their stock and it shows!

Great fish

I decided to order some Cardinal Tetras for our tank (and a few other fish/snails). My husband recommended using Flip and I am very happy with our purchase. The fish are all healthy and thriving. Shipping was fast. Highly recommend!

All 6 (ordered 5, received an extra) are thriving! The group schooled immediately with my half dozen neons, also purchased from Flip. Highly satisfied!
