Bloodfin Tetras are small, peaceful fish that do best in groups of six or more. They have clear to silvery bodies and bright, blood‑red fins—that’s how they got their name. These tetras can be a bit shy at first, so you’ll often see them darting together near plants or decorations for safety.
Like most tetras, Bloodfin Tetras are easy to care for. Keep your tank temperature between 72–79°F and the pH around 6.5–7.5. They’ll eat high‑quality flakes, pellets, and small live or frozen foods like daphnia or brine shrimp.
