Water Mint is a lovely fragrant patio pond plant that has a soft, natural look. The leaves have that classic mint look, and water mint does well in shallow water or bog style areas where the roots can stay wet while the stems and leaves grow above the surface. It’s a great option for softening the edges of patio ponds and adding that natural, slightly wild look a lot of people want.

We like aquatic mint because it adds texture, gives small animals extra cover, and helps patio ponds feel more like a real little ecosystem. It’s easy to appreciate in smaller outdoor setups because it brings a lot of visual interest!
