Hygrophila lancea Araguaia is a unique variation of hygrophila that is named after the Brazilian river it was found in. When grown in the right parameters Hygrophila Araguaia can develop reddish brown coloration. Hygrophila lancea Araguaia has a unique shape that is sure to be an eye catcher in any aquarium.
Hygrophila Araguaia thrives best using a nutrient rich soil with additional fertilization (our personal preference of Brightwell line soils can be found by clicking here). If not provided enough nutrients, Hygrophila lancea Araguaia will fail to grow at its full potential. CO2 can also promote the growth of Hygrophila Araguaia, but it is not required to keep this plant alive.
*Rapid changes in tank parameters can result in the melting of the plant

This poor little plant had no leaves and no roots, it died right away
We received everything in our order in perfect condition, both plants and shrimp. We knew exactly what was going on as we signed up for shipping updates, felt very in the loop. Customer service was flawless and you can tell they really care about their products! I will be ordering from Flip again!
In fairly good condition and doing well in my aquarium. A little disappointed with the portion size but I’m sure I’ll have more in a few months time.
