Sponge tank dividers are the perfect way to keep more types of shrimp in an aquarium. Most hobbyists are limited on space, here is our solution. Tank dividers can be used to separate shrimp of the same species but with different color variations. The divider prevents interbreeding.

I got the 20L sponge divider to create two different ecosystems in one tank. I have a dirted/planted shrimp tank in one third and a bare bottom fish and African dwarf frog tank in two thirds. This makes it so I only have 1 physical tank and water parameters to monitor.
The size of the filter is perfect and the shrimp love to hang out on it.

I love this divider, using it on 20 gal long shrimp tank! I did have to cut up a plastic placemat into strips and add these on both sides touching glass as shims, this has made it absolutely shrimplet proof!
This divider is firm and does not slide around or bow out/ get deformed during water changes or maintenance. If I was going to set up another breeding tank then I would ABSOLUTELY buy another divider from Flip Aquatics, this is the only divider that I trust.

I always keep coming back here for sponges and mattenfilters. The price is right and they're good stuff! They fit better than the ones I can get on other sites too, thick and sturdy stuff! I've also used the 55g divider and several sizes of the mattenfilter sponge and I am never disappointed. =)
