Kills Algae, Not Freshwater Shrimp Safe According to Fritz

Kills algae as advertised, but according to the bottle Fritz Algae Clean Out is, "Not safe for use with freshwater snails, shrimp, clams and other crustaceans, or mollusks." Flip Aquatics' product description does not mention this.
