Rotala indica is one of many commonly found aquatic stem plants. This variation of Rotala is a great selection for your tanks background due to its ability to grow thick and tall with the proper conditions. Given high light and some additional fertilization, this plant can produce a light pink coloration on the undersides of the leaves and in some cases achieve darker red coloration. Frequent trimming of this plant can help you achieve a bush-like appearance.
Keep in mind that the coloration, size, and shape of this plant are subject to the conditions the plants are kept. The leaves on Rotala species can be fragile and it is recommended they are handled with care.
Use of a high quality planted tank substrate (our personal favorites can be found by clicking here) and CO2 injection can help yield better growth.
*Rapid changes in tank parameters can result in the melting of the plant
You will receive one (1) bunch that includes 5 stems of this plant. Portion size may vary.
