Really cute little fish! Arrived alive and well. Settled in nicely in his tank. I didn't realize just how tiny and fast he would be. It always takes me a minute to find him.
These micro-mini fish are now one of my favorite fish species. They are thriving in a planted nano tank with young bluefin killifish and a couple female threadfin rainbows.
The tank had been well established before I added them (4) so there various critters like detritus worms present. I was still concerned, especially because they were hard to track amongst the plants. But they all found their areas of the tank and seem quite happy(?) and active. In addition to the organisms they find in the tank, I feed them “Freshwater Frenzy” (Bloodworms, brine shrimp, watercress, cyclops, daphnia, sodium alginate, spirulina).

Awesome fish! The small nano size which I love but the act very differently than my Chili Rasboras and Celestial Pearl Danios. They can hold completely still on the rocks and like to spar with the other Badis. Love the orange stripes.
