Cryptocoryne Wendtii is a low light plant that grows rather slowly. Although, once the plant is established it will spread and grow in a large clump around the mother plant. Crypt wendtii is a great mid-ground plant. With most Crypts, you will need a nutrient-rich substrate or root tabs to keep them happy.
You will receive one (1) potted plant with multiple plants. Portion size may vary.
Scientific Name: Cryptocoryne wendtii
Light Requirements: Low to Medium
Care Level: Easy
Note: Crypts are usually grown emmersed (above water). This means most ofthe leaves will melt away after the plant sprouts 2-3 new submerged (below water) leaves.
*All Plants may contain snails or snail eggs. We keep them in all of our tanks for the benefits they provide.*
Awesome plant came in health and green with nice roots. Most of the leaves it came with melted back, but the new ones grew in amazing in about 4 to 5 weeks. So don’t freak out if it melts back just give it time.
Very pleased with plants
Will buy fish soon
beautiful!!
I placed an order just because you said you had the Madagascar lace plant bulb. I order a couple other plants to try just to get free shipping. I didn’t even receive one of the ones I truly placed the order for . The were substituted with whatever you had without asking if that was ok . I do not think that is right !
I ordered the crypts: Wendtii (green, bronze and red), Red Rubin and sword plants. The crypts came in very nice condition, minimal melt and putting out nice new growth. The swords are doing great putting out new leaves. Thank you team FLIP!
