Gold Honey Gourami

Wonderful addition to a tank. Perfect pop of color and a peaceful fish as advertised

My gourami arrived healthy and vibrant, he was quite hungry upon arrival and showed some stressed behavior but settled after 12 hours and eating some food. Very peaceful in my nano community tank now.

Received healthy, they have since grown together and been hanging together!

Absolutely beautiful fish. The Gold Honey that I ordered from Flip was received in excellent health and has such a wonderful temperament. Beautiful light gold color with red fringe along the fins, extremely docile but inquisitive, and a very good eater. Couldn't ask for a better centerpiece for a community nano tank.

My tank is heavily planted with a maze of hardscape and more filtration that is needed for a normal 20G. I have a Red and Gold honey in a 20G with 8 kuhli loaches, 12 CPD, 3 Borneo suckers (two of the smaller, striped variety, and one of the larger, spotted variety), and some amount of rili carbon shrimp. They all get along swimmingly (!) and there's no one 'boss' of the tank.

I've purchased from Flip twice now and have an absolute stellar experience both times. I appreciate the effort that goes into caring and quarantining the fish at Flip's facility, the attention to detail from the shipping/handling team when packing and shipping the fish, and the excellent communication from the customer ops team.
