Cryptocoryne Lutea likes to stand up, as opposed to flopping over horizontally. Cryptocoryne Lutea requires a bit more light than the typical Crypt. Depending on lighting, either the leaves will grow tall towards the light or more horizontal. Lutea can be propagated by uprooting the whole plant and plucking baby plants from the side of the main root.

My Crypt. Lutea is doing very well in my tank! Arrived in great shape and planted very easy. Already seeing growth just a week after planting! Would highly recommend for filling in shady areas and little nooks in your aqua scape.
My water parameters:
9dGH
3dKH
7.5PH
6ppm Nitrate
I divided it into three plants and it came in perfect condition. A couple leaves melted while adapting to the new environment but grew back very quickly.
The plant came in fast and divided into four separate parts! Thanks Flip team!
Review from 3 weeks out:
Most leaves melted away (normal for crypts) and grew back much more vibrant. Potting came generously with enough to split one pot into 4 individual plants each with 2 or 3 leaves. Will buy again for my next scape
Very nice plant
I was able to divide it and put it in two different aquariums
Crypts in general seem to like my water and they always do well in my tanks
All the plants I have received from Flips are always healthy and I have never had any problems with them
