Trident java fern is another unique java fern. Trident java fern has a unique look to it. The leaves have a branch look to them with one center leaf growing straight and then other leaves growing off the side of it. Trident java fern looks much different than other ferns. Therefore, it’ll make a great addition to a tank already populate with other ferns.
We currently keep trident java fern under a few conditions. It does best in our tank that has Fluval Shrimp Stratum with low light. The extra nutrients really make this plant grow well. Although, we grow it well in our other tanks that have pool filtered sand, no added nutrients and again low light. It is a hardy plant all around and will make a great addition to any aquarium.

The fern arrived quickly & was well packaged and healthy-looking. It looks great in my 16-gallon aquarium and is doing very well; it's had no leaf melt issues like I've experienced with other plants. I'll be purchasing more plants again. Thanks Flip!

This is a nice plant for diversity in the tank. It did arrive a bit browned but NO WORSE than at the LFS without having to pay the upcharge. Its still beautiful and bright and i look foward to growing more :)
