White Medaka Ricefish

Platinum White Medaka Ricefish are such a fun little fish with bright, clean white color and a soft metallic shine that really pops, especially when the light hits them just right. They stay fairly small, are peaceful, and do great in groups, which makes them an awesome choice for community tanks, planted tanks, and even summer tubs or patio ponds during the warmer months.

One of the things we love about ricefish is how active and easygoing they are. They’re always out swimming, usually visible, and they bring a ton of life to a tank without being too much! If you want something a little different than the usual nano fish, these are a really cool option.

Platinum White Medaka are also known for being hardy. They can handle a wider range of temperatures than a lot of other small fish, which is part of what makes them so popular for outdoor setups. Whether you’re adding them to a peaceful aquarium or trying something fun like a patio pond or summer tub, they’re a great fish to work with!

Please Note: All fish shipments have a 100% Live Arrival Guarantee when shipping with the Overnight (1 Day) option. All other options void our Live Arrival Guarantee for fish.

We feed them a large variety of foods, which include finely ground Northfin flake foods, small Northfin pellets (veggie, community, & bug pro), and frozen foods. They also like microworms and baby brine shrimp.
