You will be receiving a 40g pack of Indian almond tree bark also known as catappa tree bark. The bark is an essential part of breeding and keeping freshwater shrimp. Although, they are also beneficial to bettas, Apistogrammas and Corydoras species for their healing properties and ability to lower the pH.
The Indian Almond Tree Bark is a great alternative to leaves. While it doesn't break down as quick, it releases a lot of tannin into the water. Each 40g pack has at least one log shaped piece of bark making it a great hiding place for shrimp or other small species.

Great product
I really did it for the fish I got but it is nice and it give some of my animals a source of fiber in there diet. Hasn’t clouded up my water or made serious tannin problems. It also sinks fast. Things to think about if looking.
The bark has also leaked tannins, providing more natural water parameters for my Phoenix Rasbora. I am a pleased customer!
