Introducing Fritz Aquatics Dark Water, a natural water conditioner enriched with the essence of Terminalia catappa tree leaves, commonly known as Indian Almond Leaves. This premium extract is packed with concentrated tannins, creating an environment that closely replicates nature for Bettas, shrimp, and other fish.
Derived from almond leaves, the Dark Water extract contains humic acids and tannins renowned for their antibacterial properties, pH-lowering abilities, and the creation of blackwater conditions in the aquarium. These elements promote a healthier, more comfortable habitat for your aquatic companions.
Ideal for soft-water fish such as Bettas, discus, tetras, angelfish, and killifish, Fritz Dark Water Almond Leaf Extract ensures optimal water conditions and supports the well-being of your aquatic inhabitants. Experience the natural benefits of Dark Water and provide your fish with an environment that mimics their native habitats.
Love this product! Made cycling my tank so much better and faster! Overall love this!
I love this product, it produces a nice tint without being too dark, and helps manage ph nicely. For a 5 gallon tank it recommended 25 ml, and if you're conditioning your top off water as well as water change water, it seems to go pretty fast. In the future I will be buying a larger bottle of it or multiples to have on hand as I do small auto water changes and top offs daily to ensure high water quality (adds up to 20% weekly changed, and I go through a five gallon reservoir that supplies both top off and water change every ten or so days on a five gallon display)
This is a product is just not concentrated enough to tint the water. I can see using this just to condition a newly built tank, but some botanicals could tint better than this product after a few days
